Will #SaveTheCrew mural campaign be a thing?

One Crew SC supporter is getting his message across loud and clear, literally.

Twitter user Johnyasi Zidardes +8 (@TheZidar) recently posted about a huge black and yellow mural sprawling across the side of a building on Hudson St. and 4th St.

According to his tweet, he’s trying to start a movement.

“Hey #Columbus, do you have an exterior wall that could use a fresh coat of paint?” the Twitter user wrote. “If you answered yes, then hit me up! My crew and I would love to get some more Crew/STC murals up around the city.”

The first mural on the side of the old Hudson Theater at 368 E. Hudson St. reads “RESPECT YOUR R96TS.”

The “96” references the year the club was established.

Do you think the #SaveTheCrew murals will catch on? If so, where would you like to see one?
