Ground at a prominent corner of Italian Village has been broken to make way for new condos.

A 14-unit development is going up at the southwest corner of East 5th Avenue and North 4th Street, an area quickly growing in popularity with Fox in the Snow, Seventh Son Brewing Co., Cosecha Cocina and more already calling it home.

The project is called Four x Five and the units will range from 900 to 1,700 square feet with an outdoor patio ad parking garage included.

Prices start in the $300,000 range and the land has a 100 percent, 15-year tax abatement, reports Columbus Business First.

The developers, Jay DeVore of DEV and Brandon Foldes of Shyft Collective are also also building a similar-size development at 601 S. 9th St. near German Village called The Townhaus.
