A new development is planning a project in Franklinton and to nobody’s surprise, it’s going to be a mix of residential and commercial.

Pittsburgh developer, Shawn Kichline is eyeballing 548 W. State Street, an undeveloped parcel between Dodge Park District and the Arts and Innovation District. He and his team envision a three-story structure comprised of 13 one-bedroom apartments for people of varying socioeconomic levels with a restaurant/community hub as the anchor. The crow’s nest will be a rooftop bar.

Columbus Business First reports the rooms would be 550 square feet each.
