While the Wildlights festivities don’t begin until 5pm, guests are encouraged to arrive early as this annual Stuff the Truck food drive draws large crowds.
Visitors can drop off their donations at the large Mid-Ohio Foodbank trucks located in the main parking lot of the Zoo, to the northeast and northwest of the main entrance.
“During this critical time of year, our hungry neighbors should not have to choose between heating bills and holiday meals,” said Matt Habash, President & CEO of Mid-Ohio Foodbank. “Thanks to community partners like Kroger and the Columbus Zoo, the Foodbank is able to put food on the tables of those who struggle in our community. Together, we can end hunger, one nourishing meal at a time.”
Let’s light up the lives of central Ohioans and beat last year’s donations of 80,704 lb!
