CBJ Winter Park opening soon, outdoor practice cancelled
Finding ways to entertain the whole family during the cold can be very challenging but the Blue Jackets are bringing you something to make it a bit easier. Columbus’ own Blue Jackets have brought back their Winter Park skate.
Starting February 2nd, central Ohioans can skate outside of McFerson Commons located right across from the Blue Jackets home rink. Glide across the ice like the pros in a NHL sized arena. All month long, adults can skate for $10 and just five bucks for kids including skates.
If skating is not the strong suit of the friends and family, there will be other sites and attractions to accompany the Winter Park activities including a heated Mad River Lounge, 5k Race, and video board. To see a complete list click here.
A Columbus Blue Jackets practice was scheduled to take place on the outdoor rink today but due to weather conditions, it has been cancelled.
