Ohio’s largest ski resort is 45 minutes away and opens today

It may not be a white Christmas around here, but it’s guaranteed to be at Mad River Mountain!

Ohio’s largest ski resort, just 45 minutes from Columbus, will open for the season this afternoon at 4pm.

Mad River’s Team Blizzard has been battling against Mother Nature’s warm temps to keep the slopes snowy with their massive winter makers (snow machines).

Explore 144 acres of powdery white stuff on skis or snowboards through trails or a terrain park.

Mad River features 1,460 ft. mountain elevation, 300 ft. vertical drop, and different trails and parks to cater to all abilities.
