What’s up with the inaugural What? Fest?
Columbus is announcing another inaugural festival this summer!
What? Music and Arts Festivals joins local artists, musicians, and interactive experiences into one incredibly entertaining event.
The free one-day fest will take place at 934 Gallery located at 934 Cleveland Ave on July 28.
934 Gallery’s 2,700-square-foot exhibition space will host the local artwork – paintings, photography and sculptures from more than ten artists including Kyle Dineen, Brendan McNally and Adam France.
Five musicians representing a variety of genres – acoustic rock, house, eclectic bass and dubstep – will bring their sounds to the gallery’s outdoors space.

Attendees can also participate in interactive artistic experiences, including an ultraviolet light room and an interactive photo lounge as well as enjoy island-inspired street food from a local food truck, Hai Poké, attend a free yoga class, and shop pop-up stores from local brands and apparel.
The event was originated by a team of creatives who have the goal of inspiring connection and collaboration through art and music events in Columbus.
“We want this event to break the barriers between the artists and the fans, allowing for organic yet focused growth of an underground scene,” said Ryan McKee, a co-founder of the festival. “Through these installations, sounds and experience, we hope to create an environment that fosters collaboration between artists and creatives of all walks of life. This all drives back to a variety of artists working together to create something special – something greater than we all are individually.”
All proceeds from donations received during the event will go directly back into funding future artistic endeavors.
