Celebrate your 4-legged friend at BrewDog’s Dog Pawties

614now Staff

Does your dog have a birthday coming up? Or, would you just like to celebrate them being such a good girl/boy?

With BrewDog’s new Dog Pawties, you can throw them the ultimate celebration in the ultimate location.

BrewDog’s flagship U.S. location, DogTap, in Canal Winchester is now offering dog party packages that include dog‑sized party hats, dog-friendly cake and specially brewed dog beer for the celebrant and all attending canines—all for just $10 for each dog in attendance.

After the dogs have stuffed themselves full of the boiled carrots and bananas brews and dog-safe cakes, they can work off the carbs in the awesome BrewDog dog park.

“Dogs are as important to us as any of our two-legged craft beer drinking fans,” said BrewDog cofounder James Watt. “On any given day at our bars, you’re certain to see dogs of all shapes and sizes accompanying their humans. The Dog Pawties service is an extension of our desire to make our bars the most welcoming places for owners as well as their dogs.”

Here are a few other ways BrewDog celebrates our four-legged friends.

  • Co-founders James Watt and Martin Dickie came up with the name BrewDog after being inspired by James’ chocolate Labrador, Bracken, the original BrewDog.
  • Last year, BrewDog launched its ‘paw-ternity’ leave program, which allows staff to take paid leave to welcome their new four-legged friend to the family.
  • In May this year, BrewDog celebrated the launch of its Tower Hill BrewPub by brewing the world’s first beer designed by dogs as they selected the hops, malts, and special fruit twist.
  • Last year, BrewDog UK became the first company to allow dogs to become ‘shareholders’ in the business. Today, the brewery has 144 dogs listed as honorary ‘shareholders’.
