Hoppy hottie: Ohio beer wins beauty contest

Whoever told you “It’s what’s on the inside that counts,” was wrong—at least in the case of the “30 Best-Looking Beer Cans in America” contest.

Cincinnati’s Rhinegeist Brewery has been recognized for putting one of the top 30 most attractive cans out into the world: Truth IPA.

“Rhinegeist (“ghost of the Rhine”) honors that heritage with a ghostly-skull logo found on color-coded cans like Truth IPA, the green a tip of the cap to the hops,” said New York City-based software company Ceros who orchestrated the contest.

And like your mom has always said, the contents of the can are equally as appealing.

“The best labels look as good as the beer tastes,” author Joshua Bernstein, an Ohio native, writes per Ohio.com.
