North High Brewing expanding biz northward

North High Brewing is expanding in a direction the same as its namesake. The popular Columbus beer manufacturer will be opening a restaurant and brewery in downtown Marion in May. They’ve teamed up with Delaware’s Amato’s Wood Fired Pizza to bring a unique drinking and dining option to a city where such options are limited.

The new venture will go in one block away from Marion’s Palace Theatre, reports Columbus Business First. The 8,000-square-foot building is about 100 years old and has a 4,000-square-foot patio attached.

North High Brewing has been delivery beer to Amato’s for years so when the two business owners were talking about expansion, they decided to keep moving north—one enticing draw to Marion was the fact the wife of Tim Ward, co-owner of North High, is from there.
