Ta ta, Challah, hello Preston’s food truck

After five years of wheeling around the city, slinging their Jewish comfort food, the Challah food truck will be putting it in park for good.

The food truck will rebrand into its sister concept, Preston’s: A Burger Joint.

The new Preston’s truck big first day out will be Sunday, August 5 at the Summer Flea event at Seventh Son Brewing.

“We’ll have the same staff and the same food made with integrity—the only thing changing will be the look of the truck,” wrote Challah on Facebook. “Don’t worry, the Crispy Chicken Sandwich will stay on the Preston’s truck menu!”

But speaking of Preston’s, the tasty smash burger spot is becoming a permanent pop-up at Eugene’s Canteen in the Short North.

Preston’s also has another permanent kitchen at Woodland’s Backyard located at 668 Grandview Ave. in Grandview.
