Tom Steyer, a billionaire from California has been working on removing President Trump at the national level but he’s bringing his efforts to a more local level, starting right here in Columbus.
There are no details on where the town hall meeting will be but it will be held on March 15. There will be 29 other across the U.S. to follow.
Steyer’s objective will be to “make the patriotic case to Democrats, independents, and Republicans about the need for impeachment, and how the inaction of their elected leaders in Washington D.C. reflects broader neglect of their constituents,” according to his Need to Impeach campaign, per The Dispatch.
“Donald Trump has brought us to the brink of nuclear war, obstructed justice, and taken money from foreign governments. We need to impeach this dangerous president,” the Need to Impeach website says.
