CLE-who? Yeah that’s right, we’re bigger than you now.
According to new census information, the Columbus metro area has now exceeded that of Cleveland’s. Our metro area, consisting of 10 counties, is dense with 2,078,725 people while Cleveland is hanging on with 2,058,844.
So we’re the biggest of the three “C”‘s in Ohio, right?
Wrong.
Cincinnati still has us beat with about 100,000 more humans. However, if Columbus’ growth trend continues, we should catch up to Cincinnati’s metro population by 2024.
