Experts in the gambling field say if Ohio drags its feet, it won’t be able to bring Ohio gamblers back from Pennsylvania and West Virginia where sports betting has been legal since May.
But if they can get their ducks in a row, the experts say Ohio has great potential with the cult followings of the state’s many sports teams.
Sports gambling would likely generate 5 to 7 percent of the overall gambling revenue which would translate into tens of millions of dollars for the state.
