Hey, hey, hey Bill, you may need to hand back that OSU degree

It’s not cool that someone who’s been charged with aggravated indecent assaults is running around with an honorary degree from Ohio State University, right?

OSU’s Board of Trustees is kind of thinking the same thing.

On Friday, they’ll get together on vote on whether or not Bill Cosby’s honorary OSU degree should be revoked.

He was given an honorary Doctor of Education degree in June 2001 after giving the spring commencement speech, reports Columbus Business First.

Since then, he’s been in the middle of a whirlwind of issues—from numerous sexual misconduct accusations to actual criminal sexual imposition charges.

Many universities and organizations have cut ties with Cosby since then and OSU may soon do the same.

If the Board of Trustees decides to revoke the 80-year-old actor’s degree, it would be the first rescinded by the university.
