Longtime family staple in Upper Arlington switches hands

Huffman’s Market, a staple of Upper Arlington’s Tremont Center, has switched hands.

Tim Huffman and his brothers opened the market more than 30 years ago at 2140 Tremont Center but when given an opportunity to sell his store, retire, and spend his time with his grandchildren, it was an offer he couldn’t refuse.

A Chicago businessman has acquired the market but will continue to operate it under the Huffman’s Market name and with the 31 current employees, reports This Week News. 

Huffman told This Week News that he will remain involved in the store when and where he can through his retirement.
