New, “all controversy” art space debuting at Gallery Hop

Politics, war, religion, ethnicity, racism, cultural appropriation, feminism, women’s rights, psychological issues, self-image, and the environment will be at the forefront of Short North’s newest art gallery, (Not) Sheep Gallery.

Caren Peterson will debut her newest ventures at 17 W. Russel St. on September 1 which coincides with Gallery Hop.

Peterson also owns Muse Gallery in Grandview but considering “our current political climate, I decided to open a gallery that is ‘all controversy,'” she wrote on (Not) Sheep Gallery’s Facebook page.

After September 1, hours will be Thursday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., or by appointment.
