Explore 6 Columbus attractions for FREE during “The Big Explore”

Explore Columbus’ most exciting attractions on the Columbus Foundation’s dime on December 29.

In celebration community organization’s 75th anniversary, you’ll be able to visit the following attractions admission free: Columbus Museum of Art, COSI, the Franklin Park Conservatory, the National Veterans Memorial and Museum, Ohio History Connection, and the Wexner Center for the Arts.

The Columbus Foundation is even paying for you to get around with free COTA bus rides from 5am on Dec. 29 to 1am Dec. 30.

For a family of four, the promotion, called The Big Explore, has a $300 value (not including bus fares).

“It’s meant to be a gift to the community,” Doug Kridler, the foundation’s president and CEO, said during the Central Ohio Transit Authority’s board meeting Wednesday, per The Dispatch.

Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams also is joining the celebration by offering 75-cent scoops of ice cream at all Columbus-area shops on Dec. 29, the foundation said.
