Eat burritos, earn points: Columbus pilots Chipotle Rewards

Soon, you will be able to get your Chipotle with a side of rewards.

The fast-casual Mexican grill is rolling out a pilot loyalty program that rewards guests with 10 points for each $1 in-store and 15 points for $1 online.

Once guests collect 1,250 points, they can redeem them for a free entrée.

Columbus, Phoenix and Kansas City are the three pilot cities with hopes of expanding it nationwide next year.

Chipotle officials intend to use the information gathered through the rewards program to target customers for specific incentives and gifts on their birthdays, reports Columbus Business First.

News of Columbus piloting Chipotle Rewards comes shortly after the chain announced they’d be moving their Denver headquarters to the capitol city.
