“Sizzling” steakhouse returning to Columbus

A sizzling steak house will making its return to the capital city.

New Orleans-based Ruth’s Chris Steak House will move into 511 N High Street right across from the Convention Center and hopefully open sometime in 2019.

Ruth’s Chris is known best for its custom-aged USDA Prime steaks served on 500-degree sizzling hot plates.

The menu will also offer a variety of seafood options, soups, salads and decadent desserts all sourced from the freshest ingredients available.

The wine and spirits program will feature over 200 labels, premium wines by the glass and specialty hand-crafted cocktails.

But, this is not the first time there has been a Ruth’s Chris in Columbus.

Back in 2016, the Ruth’s Chris Steak House at 7550 High Cross Blvd. in the Crosswoods development closed “due to changing marketplace dynamics,” reported The Dispatch.

It was located there for 17 years.

There are also Ruth’s Chris restaurants in Cleveland and Cincinnati.
