Bring home the bacon literally with Pork Council’s new OSU vending machine

You have exactly one week to experience Ohio State’s new Bacon Vending Machine.

The Ohio Pork Council has hooked the Animal Science Building up with a ready-to-eat, shelf-stable bacon machine.

All you have to do is feed it a buck.

“The Bacon Vending Machine is a unique and fun way for the Ohio Pork Council to support Ohio State students and promote the pork industry at the same time,” said President-Elect Dave Shoup, Ohio Pork Council, per 10TV.

Hormel, Sugardale and Smithfield donated strips and bits for the machine.

Proceeds will benefit the OSU meat science program.

The machine will be available through December 13.
