Before we spill the beans on the latest road construction headache, remember: we are only the messenger so please direct your frustration accordingly.
Also, keep in mind that while this construction may cause copious amounts of “F” bombs to fly on your commute, they are intended to improve safety and drivability in the long run.
Now, let’s rip off that Band-Aid…
The SR 315 Medical Center ramp will be closed beginning May 7 through mid-August.
The SR 315 on-ramp from Cannon Drive will be closed beginning June 11 through late November.
NBC4i reports drivers can use Goodale Street or Lane Avenue to Olentangy River Road for the Medical Center closing.
And to get around the Cannon Drive on-ramp closure, drivers can use Neil Avenue south or John Herrick Drive to Woody Hayes Dr. then north on Kenny Road to the Lane Avenue ramp.
According to OSU, Kinnear Road will close at the railroad crossing near Lennox Town Center/State Route 315 beginning May 7 to rebuild the crossing. The project is expected to be completed May 13.
