Rather than counting down the last few weeks until their wedding, one local couple is scrambling to find a missing engagement ring.
Sophia Antoun was walking out of her workplace at 206 E. State St. to feed her parking meter when her ring slipped off her finger.
“We are getting married in less than a month and my ring is a family heirloom that is extremely precious to us and our family,” she wrote on Facebook.

Surveillance footage shows two individuals walking by the area and picking something up off the ground.
Antoun wrote that she and her fiance don’t want any trouble and don’t intend to ask any questions, they just want the ring back.
“We have security footage and have taken the necessary legal steps, but If anyone has any pawn shop, antique shop or second hand jewelry connections or advice on how to better our search, please comment immediately,” she wrote.
