Urban Meyer’s future will cost university half a mil

Ohio State is willing to drop half a million bucks to cover the cost of the investigation of Urban Meyer handling of domestic abuse allegations against one of his former coaches, Zach Smith.

The Controlling Board will vote on the $500,000 request at its meeting on Aug. 20, reports Columbus Business First. According to an announcement from the university, the investigation should be wrapped up by Friday.

Ohio State will cover all the costs of the investigation.

The lead investigative law firms are New York-based Debevoise & Plimpton LLP and partner Mary Jo White.
