OSU apt developers luring students in with free stuff, will it work?
Leasing agents are scrambling to put the finishing touches on the five new complexes around the Ohio State University but will free food, money, and electronics be enough to lure students into the apartments?
The Columbus Dispatch reports Point on Lane complex, at West Lane Avenue and Tuttle Park Place is offering a free Panera meal each week for a year for new tenants.
At Uncommon Columbus, at North High Street from 7th to Euclid avenues, tenants leasing larger units can receive a $750 gift card and a Google mini-speaker.

Students who land on Wilson Place, at North High Street and East Lane Avenue, will get free burritos and coffee.
The Columbus Dispatch reports that some leasing agents are offering what few others on campus do: short-term leases.
None of the complexes—Luxe Belle (which will not be completed before students move in this weekend), the Point on Lane, Uncommon Columbus, the Wellington and Wilson Place—are divulging exactly how many vacancies they still have.
