What exactly is Columbus willing to put up in exchange for Amazon’s second headquarters?
Columbus’ 1,300-page pitch to the retail giant detailing tax incentives, possible locations and other selling points in the city has been released.
Per Fox28, the documents reveal Columbus is offering tax incentives of nearly half-billion dollars.
The city sees Franklinton/Scioto peninsula west of COSI as an enticement for Amazon with its 21 acres of land queued up for shops, restaurants, offices and housing.

Undisclosed parcels in west OSU campus area and Easton are also being offered up.
But, Columbus was honest in its proposal and promised to buff up the task force trying to prevent what Columbus calls “an unacceptable murder rate,” reports Fox28.
HQ2 comes with a $5 billion investment, 50,000 new jobs and a demand for 8 million square feet of office space.
