Holiday Hop | Sunday, December 8, 12:00 – 4:00 PM
This family-friendly scavenger hunt incorporates some of the best aspects of the holidays–family, food, drinks, and shopping! Over forty businesses in Bexley are participating in the Holiday Hop this year. At each participating business, you’ll receive a stamp on your Holiday Hop passport. After collecting 8+ stamps, you could be entered to win one of three fabulous gift baskets. In addition, there will be a visit from Santa, The Dreidel Man, and Olaf! This year’s event will be capped off with the Bexley Tree Lighting at Drexel Circle!

Bexley’s Annual Tree Lighting | Sunday, December 8, 4:00 – 5:30 PM | Drexel Circle

In just a few days, Bexley will be lighting up the Christmas tree. The fun and festivities start at 4:00 pm with music from the Bexley High School Vocal Ensemble. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served by the Bexley Middle School Cheerleaders and Bexley Activities Club. Starting at 4:30 pm, Mayor Ben Kessler will light the tree and Santa Claus will arrive shortly after the tree is lit with magic! When you’re chatting with Santa, don’t forget to place something for the Giving Tree to help spread holiday cheer!

Christmas Festival at Capital University | December 5-8 | Mees Auditorium, Capital University Campus

From December 5-8, Capital University’s Conservatory of Music will present its annual Christmas Festival, featuring the Chapel Choir, Choral Union, Women’s Chorus, The Chordsmen, Philomel and a variety of instrumentalists. This long-standing holiday tradition is enjoyed by the university, its friends from far and wide and the greater Columbus community. These talented students, faculty, and alumni are sure to bring you festive joy this Holiday season. A show you won’t want to miss! Tickets sell fast, and they are on sale now through Ticketmaster!

Pancake Breakfast at Jeffrey Mansion | Saturday, December 14, 8:30 – 11:30 AM | Jeffrey Mansion, 165 N. Parkview Avenue

Each year, the Bexley Historical Society & Bexley Recreation and Parks host an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast around the holidays. They decorate the Jeffrey Mansion in period décor and holiday splendor, while serving up pancakes, sausage, juice, and coffee. All proceeds support the Bexley Historical Society & Bexley Rec!

Bexley’s Annual Menorah Lighting | Monday, December 23, 5:30 – 6:30 PM | Drexel Circle

Bexley’s Menorah Lighting will take place on the first night of Hanukkah, December 23 at 5:30 PM at Drexel Circle. This event, organized with Columbus Chabad, will celebrate the lighting of the menorah, while enjoying traditional music and dancing. Hot cider and donuts will be served!
