Pilots throw government shutdown pizza party for John Glenn TSA employees

As the record-breaking government shutdown continues, people and companies continue to step up and support those out of work.

Most recently, union representatives with NetJets Association of Shared Aircraft Pilots treated John Glenn Columbus International Airport TSA officers with nearly 140 pizzas from Columbus-based Donatos.

More than 320 TSA officers at John Glenn are impacted by the shutdown.

That is not going unnoticed by travelers, either.

10TV reports people have been vocalizing their gratitude towards TSA employees for showing up despite the shutdown, some even offering them money (which they can’t accept due to ethical guidelines).
