Water Lantern Fest floats into Columbus this weekend

Fire and water come together this weekend for an evening of fun, happiness, and hope on the Scioto Mile.

The Columbus Water Lantern Festival is a family-friendly event that aims to bring people together for a peaceful, memorable experience. For the price of admission, participants will have to opportunity to decorate their own water lantern and set it afloat on the river.

This unique experience will also have a positive impact on the local ecosystem. Admission fees will cover the cost of collecting and removing the lanterns following the event, along with any other trash that may be present.
