Famed Cleveland sub shop now open on High Street
The hoagie hero of northeast Ohio has finally landed in Central Ohio! Dave’s Cosmic Subs is now open at 1764 N. High St. on Ohio State’s campus.
The friendly psychedelic and rock ‘n’ roll themed sub shop will offer 30 sandwich varieties served on either vegan, kosher Italian, whole wheat, or gluten-free bread baked fresh daily. The 8-inch subs will range in price from $7 to $10. The shop will also serve salads, chili, fries, desserts, and an original recipe of bottled soda.
The shop will seat about 10 diners with most orders being placed to go or for delivery.

Local entrepeneur and former brewery at North High Brewing, Chris May, will operate the Columbus location of the franchise.
Dave’s is open daily from 11am-9pm but will eventually extend hours for late night customers. They’ll also offer catering, their own delivery, plus delivery through services like UberEats and Grubhub.
The first Cosmic Dave’s opened in Chagrin Falls in 1997, but has since expanded to other parts of Ohio, Georgia, California, and Texas.
