Mike Thomas

It’s the moment burger fans in central Ohio have been waiting for: Shake Shack has announced the opening date for its first Columbus location on Sunday, May 19th at 11 a.m. Shake Shack will be located in the former location of the Tesla Dealership at Easton Town Center (4005 The Strand West, Space 430).

A modern day “roadside” burger stand, Shake Shack is known for its 100% all-natural Angus beef burgers, chicken sandwiches and griddled flat-top dogs, fresh-made frozen custard, and more.

In addition to its classic offerings, the Easton Town Center Shake Shack will be spinning up a unique selection of frozen custard concretes in honor of the opening.

Brews from Platform Beer Co., Lager Heads, Royal Docks Brewing Co. and Kindred Brewing, will also be on hand, plus Shake Shack’s exclusive Brooklyn Brewery ShackMeister Ale. Wine lovers can enjoy a glass of Shack Red and Shack White wine from Napa-based Frog’s Leap Winery.

As if all of that wasn’t enough to get you in the door, the Easton Shake Shack will donate 5% of sales from the “Pie Oh My” concrete to Columbus Gives Back, an organization that provides social volunteer and philanthropic opportunities for young professionals to create a culture of community engagement in central Ohio.

Finally, the first 100 people in line when doors open at 11 a.m. will receive custom Shake Shack swag – for free! Don’t sleep on being among the first in central Ohio to try this international burger sensation.
