Two Columbus Women’s Marches stormed through downtown over the weekend, bringing with them pride, power, and demand for change.
Two local organizations held marches at 44 E Broad St. and at the Washington Gladden Social Justice Park Saturday.
“Today we celebrate in unity and solidarity, together centering those who are most vulnerable among us. We will not go back, nor will we allow justice to be delayed. Now, is the time for us to come together and lean in until every oppressive system is disrupted,” an organizer of the march held at the social justice said, per NBC4i.
The marches coincided with the third annual Women’s March in Washington, D.C.
