Have a ball at BalletMet’s Cinderella this weekend
It’s one of the most classic of classic fairytales: Cinderella. Who hasn’t wanted to be completely transformed and meet the person of their dreams? BalletMet recreates this beautiful story April 12-14 at the Ohio Theatre. And you’re going to want to experience it!
Presented in a little over an hour and a half, Cinderella showcases 400 beautiful individual costume pieces, from Cinderella’s rag dress to the court jester’s multicolored attire to sparkling ballroom fashions to the enviable “glass” slipper, partially purchased from the Washington Ballet and augmented through BalletMet’s costume shop.

BalletMet’s artistic director Edwaard Liang serves as the choreographer for the family-friendly production, which is obviously filled with sentimental and romantic moments, but be prepared to laugh, as well.
