Jeni’s [straw]berry delicious party returns to Franklinton

It’s strawberry fields forever once again in Franklinton, as Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams announced the return of its annual Strawberry Jam celebration to the neighborhood for Memorial Day weekend.

Featuring live music, truckloads of fresh strawberries, and an unlimited supply of Jeni’s Strawberry Buttermilk ice cream, the community event will be held on Sunday, May 26 from noon to 10 PM at Land-Grant Brewing Company.

Starting in 2016, Jeni’s Strawberry Jam has been celebrated in honor of the fleeting Ohio strawberry season. Jeni’s hopes that this picnic-style party will serve as a community-building platform, bringing people together from in and around Columbus.

While exact details for this year’s festivities are still sparse, Jeni’s promises there will be beer, rosé, local food, family friendly activities, and live music all day.
