The Dude abides to these 7 ways to celebrate 4/20

Mike Thomas

With the recent opening of the city’s first medical marijuana dispensary, as well as a cannabis industry college, fans of the herb in Columbus have more to be excited about than ever.

As our city continues to embrace the sticky icky as part of the acceptable fabric of society, here are a few ways to celebrate all things green and skunky this Saturday on 4/20.

Munchies

Condado Tacos | Multiple locations
With year-round menu items like “Bubba Kush,” “Dutch Dragon,” and “Ooey Gooey,” you know Condado has the hookup for 4/20. The popular local taco chain is celebrating this Saturday at all six of its central Ohio locations with 20% off all online orders. Enter the code “for20” at checkout to get this deal.

Mikey’s Late Night Slice | Multiple Locations
The street-food kings at Mikey’s Late Night have announced the return of their 4/20-themed Mozzarella Kush pizza as this week’s featured slice.

Topped with Mozzarella Sticks, Bacon, and Mikey’s signature Unicorn Sauce, a slice of this pie comes with a “dimebag” of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos to tame even the most ragin’ munchies. But don’t space out —Moz Kush goes up in smoke (as in they stop serving it) after Sunday, 4/21.

Events

(Hed)P.E.| Alrosa Villa, 5055 Sinclair Road
For those who like their early-2000’s stoner nu metal with an edge, (Hed)P.E. will take to the Alrosa Villa stage on 4/20. Fun fact – the “P.E.” part of the group’s name stands for planet earth, but with any luck, you’ll be so blasted by the time they go on you won’t know WHAT planet you’re on!!! Be safe out there, fam. Doors at 6:00 PM, visit the
Facebook event page for more info.
