New updates to second North Market at Bridge Park
The expansion of the city’s beloved public market into Dublin’s booming Bridge Park development is moving right along. While the vendors that will occupy the space when it opens are still unknown, a name for the market itself has officially been chosen.
According to a press release, the North Market partnered with local firms VENN Growth Collective and Holden Ellis North in a formal naming process. After much deliberation, the team selected a moniker that they hope will encapsulate the market’s storied past, while pointing to the future of this newly-minted location: North Market Bridge Park.

“We chose the name after reviewing hundreds of options,” said an official with the market. “We selected this name because we wanted to simultaneously honor the iconic, original North Market and the experience we are creating at the new Market through a mix of some of the best merchants from our flagship location as well as new merchants who will be exclusive to the new site. We also wanted to be clear about its location and to leverage the excitement over the world-class community being built in the City of Dublin.”
In addition to the big name reveal, a new logo for the market’s Bridge Park location was also shown off. Deploying a similar motif as the original, the Bridge Park logo will display the market’s iconic “Rooster” imagery, with a slightly different color motif to help differentiate this location.
