Clintonville vegans rejoice! Portia’s Cafe expanding

Portia Yiamouyiannis of Portia’s Cafe is planning to expand her vegan-ness slightly southward.

Portia plans to open another cafe in the old Whole World Natural Bakery and Restaurant at 3269 N High St. in Clintonville by the end of this year.

This new diner will be offering vegan comfort foods like pancakes, waffles, hamburgers, and burritos. There will also be some raw vegan options on the menu.

Everything is still in the works, but guests can expect the new cafe to be held to the same high quality, vegan, organic, and non-GMO standards as the original.

The flagship Portia’s is located at 4428 Indianola Ave, which will have an added-on breakfast and lunch coffeehouse within a month or so, reports This Week News.

News of the expansion will be sure to have many of you feeling nostalgic. Whole World Natural Restaurant and Bakery was a popular vegetarian/vegan restaurant that closed in 2017 after a 39-year run.
