One of Forbes’ “10 Best Bourbons Beyond Kentucky” is here in Columbus

While Kentucky may be home to some of the best bourbons in the world, it’s not home to all the best bourbons in the world.

In fact, Columbus is home to one of the 10 Best Bourbons Beyond Kentucky, according to Forbes.

Watershed Bourbon was placed on that list by writer George Koutsakis for its “unique four-grain mash bill.”

“While the nose opens with oak, vanilla, and pepper, the palate brings molasses, honey, and toasted bread. Sweetness is at the forefront in this easy-drinking bourbon from Ohio,” wrote Koutsakis.

Other bourbons on the list include Featherbone Bourbon from Michigan, Koval Single Barrel Bourbon from Chicago, Hudson Baby Bourbon and Iron Smoke Straight Bourbon from New York.

According to the list, Balcones Texas Blue Corn Bourbon is the best bourbon outside of Kentucky.
