Pancake Paradise: Katalina’s II open now

The long-anticipated opening of Katalina’s second location is finally here! The Little Cafe with Lots of Local Goodness™ is now open at 3481 N. High St. in Clintonville.

The Southern-slanted, Latin-leaning menu features familiar favorites like her famous Original Pancake Balls™, along with new classics like a Prego Steak Sandwich with The Butcher and The Grocer Bavette Sirloin on Matija Breads Brioche with Katalina’s Housemade Piri Piri sauce; a Vegan Impossible Burger Pepper Patty Melt with Cooper’s Mill Pepper Butter; a Big Ole Breakfast Salad with Beeler’s Bacon, Cage-Free Eggs, Tomatillo Salad Dressing, plus Toast Points; and Katalina’s Chile Relleno A Go Go, a fried poblano pepper stuffed with housemade pimento cheese in a cornbread “casserole” crust.

The new location is 2600 square feet, six times as big as the original location, with a large patio space along High Street. Guests can expect to find the same quirky decor as the Harrison West restaurant, plus a few new Thunderkiss Coffee Beans roasted just for Katalina’s, new Katalina’s coffee mugs and tee shirts featuring the cafe’s “Peace, Love & Pancake Balls” mural by a local artist.
