Popular southern restaurant bringing unique menu to Columbus

Are you a chicken salad enthusiast? Then you’ll go cock-a-doodle-doodling crazy for the new restaurant coming to the Polaris area.

Chicken Salad Chick, an Alabama-based franchise, will open its first central Ohio restaurant at 687 Worthington Rd. in late spring.

The menu has 12 core chicken salad choices, including traditional, savory, spicy, and fruity and nutty options.

Each salad is named after a woman in Chicken Salad Chick founder Stacy Brown’s life.

The menu also offers a variety of salads, sides, and soups.

Chicken Salad Chick Columbus will be rubbing square footage with tenants of the Westar Neighborhood Retail Center like 101 Beer Kitchen, Duck Donuts, and Fresh Thyme Farmers’ Markets, reports Columbus Business First.

There are currently 105 stores in 13 states, with Lexington, Kentucky being the closest one from Columbus.
