Seventh Son Head Brewer Colin Vent builds six pack of local brews

Mitch Hooper

The Six Pack is a new series from 614NOW where we chat with brewers from around the city to see what they are drinking. From brews in their own taproom to the beers other local craft breweries are creating, this is a taste maker’s guide to beer in Columbus. If you’re a brewer and would like to be featured, email [email protected]!

Ever since setting up shop in 2013, Seventh Son has been at the forefront of craft brewing. From winning our annual ColumBest award for best local brewery year after year to opening a sour operation Antiques on High, Seventh Son continues to live up to the hype.

But what are these brewing experts pouring in their own pint glasses? 614NOW had the chance to catch up with Colin Vent, Head Brewer at Seventh Son, to answer just that. Here are the six brews he suggests, and a six word description of each beer.
