Ruth’s Chris to begin serving “sizzling” steaks today
A sizzling steak house has made its return to the capital city.
New Orleans-based Ruth’s Chris Steak House will officially open at 511 N. High St. across from the Convention Center today, serving custom-aged USDA Prime steaks on 500-degree sizzling hot plates.
The menu also offers a variety of seafood options, appetizers, soups, salads, and decadent desserts. The wine and spirits program features over 200 labels, premium wines by the glass, and specialty hand-crafted cocktails.
All the food and drinks are sourced from the freshest ingredients available and served by only the most knowledgeable, hospitable, and thorough wait and bar staff.

This is not the first time Ruth’s Chris has made a go in the Columbus market.
Back in 2016, the Ruth’s Chris Steak House at 7550 High Cross Blvd. in the Crosswoods development closed “due to changing marketplace dynamics,” reported The Dispatch. It was located there for 17 years.
There are also Ruth’s Chris restaurants in Cleveland and Cincinnati.
Ruth’s Chris Columbus is open Monday through Thursday from 5pm- 10pm, Friday through Saturday from 5pm- 11pm, and Sunday from 4pm- 9pm. Happy hour is Monday through Saturday from 4pm- 6:30pm.
