Robber makes off with cash in Short North bank heist

A bank in the heart of the Short North was robbed on Monday.

10TV reports police have apprehended 23-year-old Tony Black, who allegedly walked into the Chase Bank at 677 N High St before 5:00 PM.

Black reportedly passed a note to the teller and ran off with an undetermined amount of money. He then entered a nearby business in an attempt to blend in, but police quickly recognized him.

Black was arrested and charged with a third-degree felony robbery.
