“Haven’t had level of support we need,” House Wine closes
It was a short, but appreciated run for Bexley shop House Wine as they prepare to permanently close over the next couple weeks.
The vino establishment opened just last summer and provided the neighborhood with a unique selection of wines that could be purchased to go or enjoyed in the House Wine space.
“We’re thankful for the friends we’ve made since we opened in July,” wrote House Wine on Facebook. “We just haven’t had the level of support we needed to make this location sustainable.”
Owners added that the Worthington location is “still going strong.”

Their limit stock of beer cannot be legally discounted. We’ll be open until 9pm this week and hours are subject to change. All tastings, events, and parties are cancelled so we can focus on efficiently winding down our shop.
