Oats and Barley Market sowing final seeds

Short North’s natural and local grocer is closing up shop.

Oats and Barley will close its 970 N High St doors permanently within the next few weeks after about two and a half years in business.

The closure was announced on Facebook but a reason was not provided.

“We are forever grateful for the amazing customers who we now call our friends, and the Short North community that welcomed us with open arms, that we now consider our family,” wrote Simply Rolled. “We are deeply saddened to say goodbye.”

Oats and Barley carried all-natural, organic, and local foods, produce, craft beer, and wine. It was also home to Simply Rolled Ice Cream.
