Oh deer! Bizarre break-in leaves family dog missing
A Lewis Center family is searching for their dog after a deer smashed through their front window.
Tiffany McHenry told ABC6 she woke to the sound of glass shattering downstairs Monday morning. She called 911 only to find out a neighbor had already phoned in to alert authorities that a deer had leapt through their window.

The neighbor witnessed the deer jump back out the window and the family dog, Annabelle, chase after it.
In addition to the damage the deer did to their home—shattered glass, mud- and blood-covered surfaces, broken kitchen chairs—the McHenrys still can’t find Annabelle days after the ordeal.
If you have seen Annabelle or have any information regarding her whereabouts, please contact your local animal shelter or the Columbus non-emergency department at 614-645-4545.
