Spoonful Records celebrates big move with a sale

Last week, Spoonful Records announced they will be moving from their original downtown location to new digs on E. Rich.

I must say, the announcement has me feeling conflicted. As a collector of classic vinyl, I could not be happier—this move brings Spoonful within walking distance of the (614) offices. On the other hand, I’m afraid I might go broke buying records on my lunch break.

Spoonful’s last day at their classic Long Street location will be Sunday, May 19. For more, including info about the moving sale planned for the big day, peep this post from Spoonful’s Facebook:

Congrats and best of luck heading into this next chapter, Spoonful! Looking forward to blowing my whole paycheck on Big Star and Badfinger LP’s once the new store is up and running.
