Bank of Pizza: New food ATM arrives at Ohio State

First it was bacon, now it’s pizza.

The Ohio State University has unveiled a new vending machine that can pump out 12″ ready-to-eat pizzas in about three minutes.

Toppings include pepperoni, cheese, and veggie and run students $9 a pie.

This machine, created by Cincinnati-based company Pizza ATM, is located in the North Dining Room in Morrill Tower.

Students with meal plans have full reign of the Pizza ATM every day from 11am to 8pm while students without meal plans can access it Monday through Friday from 11am to 4pm.

Uh oh, banks. There's a new ATM in town. 🍕

Xavier and Case Western Reserve students are already using the ‘za machines. There are also 500 Pizza ATMs throughout Europe.

Will these machines catch on? Are they the first step in phasing out dining hall/restaurant employees? Let us know in the comments below.
