Columbus man holds last perfect March Madness bracket in existence

The odds of picking a perfect bracket for the entire NCAA men’s basketball tournament are somewhere around 9.2 quintillion to one. In other words, a perfect bracket is a borderline impossible feat. Nevertheless, one Columbus man has gotten further than most.

Nigl shattered the previous record of 39 correct picks in a row, correctly predicting every single game through the first two rounds of the 2019 NCAA tournament.

Though the Bucks may be out of the tournament, Central Ohioans can at least cheer Dr. Nigl on in adding to this impressive accomplishment. Click here for NCAA.com’s interview with Nigl, where he reveals his methodology for bracket-picking pefection. Congrats on the new record, Doc!
