One year ago yesterday, Westerville lost two brave men in uniform after a 911 hang-up call. The community continues to honor Officers Anthony Morelli and Eric Joering and heal from the tragic events.

Two wreaths, one for each officer, adorn the Westerville Police station today, while the rest of the city is decorated with blue ribbons, blue porch lights, and “#WestervilleStrong” signs.

The City of Westerville shared a video on their Facebook, featuring footage from the funeral procession for Morelli and Joering and the outpouring of support from the community for the mourning families.
