L to R: Officers Eric Joering and Anthony Morelli

Community still #WestervilleStrong 1 year after officer murders

One year ago yesterday, Westerville lost two brave men in uniform after a 911 hang-up call. The community continues to honor Officers Anthony Morelli and Eric Joering and heal from the tragic events.

Two wreaths, one for each officer, adorn the Westerville Police station today, while the rest of the city is decorated with blue ribbons, blue porch lights, and “#WestervilleStrong” signs.

We will never forget! These are at City Hall in front of WPD.
